How is JUSTCS going to change the lives of many students?

 Why JUSTCS?

Many students find it difficult to transform/turn their thoughts into words in English in written exams, viva, and presentations. It takes huge amount of practice to develop the skill if they were Bengali medium students before.

Here comes in JUST Communication Society. It will provide students a platform / setting to practice communication in English language.





Why English?

English is the medium of instruction of most of the university degree programs nowadays. Most of the student lag behind in this regard.

What JUSTCS will do?

It will organize English speaking /discussion and training sessions primarily online.

What are the potential benefits to the participants in those sessions?

If anyone participates in those sessions i.e. actively takes part in /speaks during those sessions they will be benefited in at least three ways:

(1) Learn English by reading English texts: Our sessions will focus on predetermined topics/book titles in English. A discussant must read some English texts to prepare for his/her speech during the session. If they read with attention they will learn about modern English usage.

(2) Develop fluency and confidence in speaking: Speakers/discussants will develop fluency and confidence in spoken English. The more someone engages in English conversation, the more fluent and confident he/she will become.

(3) Identify areas that need improvement in their speaking: The recordings of our sessions will help the participants identify the areas /aspects of their speech where significant improvement is needed. This insight will help them focus their effort on those areas. JUSTCS team will work with the participants individually to identify these areas.
